Connect Appointments have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our Glasgow based client.
What's on offer?
* Full-time permanent position
* Working 5 days over 7 (including weekends)
Working as a Maintenance Engineer you will be a central member of the engineering team, helping to coordinate the full range of maintenance activities, ensuring all equipment is maintained, and producing the quality of work required.
* With your day-to-day duties including:
* Undertake reactive and planned maintenance
* Running of the PPM system
* Organising installations
* Upkeep of spare stock and the ordering of spare parts
* Managing on-site contractors
* Responding to breakdowns
* Keeping all records up-to-date and management informed
* Ensure all H&S standards are maintained on-site
To be successful within this Maintenance Engineer position you will have proven experience in a maintenance or similar environment. With an understanding of electrical systems, engineering maintenance systems with a mechanical bias.

* The ability to work on your own or as part of a team
* Able to adapt to a flexible working pattern
* Able to manage, plan and prioritise maintenance schedules for both short-term and long-term projects
