This role involves overseeing a comprehensive quality management system to ensure products consistently meet customer requirements, regulatory standards and internal procedures. You will monitor system performance, drive improvements, and support teams through training, communication and the implementation of effective quality practices across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 standards
Lead non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative actions
Manage supplier quality through audits, approvals and ongoing performance monitoring
Oversee inspection processes across incoming, in-process and finished goods
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean or Six SigmaRequirements:
Proven experience in Quality position within Manufacturing environment
Strong QMS experience, systems skills and ISO standards knowledge.
Internal or Lead Auditor certificate
Time Served Engineer / Apprentice trained background
Location: Nelson
Contract: Permanent, Full Time with Flexible working hours & Hybrid working
Working Hours: 08:00-17:15 (Mon-Thurs), 08:00-13:00 (Fri)
Salary: £40k - £45k (dependent on experience)
Benefits: 31 days holidays (inclusive of BH), Pension matched until 6.5% (13% and above).
