Key Responsibilities:
1. Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline, with experience in an assembly engineering environment.
1. 3-5 years of experience
1. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
1. UK local nationals.
1. Knowledge of Airbus process and methods, understanding of SOIs.
1. Strong technical knowledge of assembly processes, including fasteners, structural hardware, drilling, bolting, corrosion protection, and fuel tank sealing.
1. Confident in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, with a solid understanding of wing structure, build processes, and M&P qualification procedures.
1. Knowledge of Aircraft wings, understanding of the machining and assembly tolerance achievement and cost implications.
1. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within multidisciplinary teams.
1. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
1. CATIA V5 tool knowledge is added advantage.
1. Able to work independently and engage with client technical approvers
