The Role
As an MI Analyst, you will have a role that is out of the ordinary providing support to our Management Information Services function delivering planned or requested activities, creating bespoke reports and dashboards to meet defined requirements.
Day-to-day, you will be part of the core Reporting and Analytics Team, creating reports and dashboards using PowerBI and MS Fabric. You will assemble data models from multiple sources and enrich data for external report users and stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Create bespoke reports and dashboards using PowerBI, delivering a high quality and timely output
2. Ensure reporting governance and accuracy of all data supplied through bespoke reports
3. Engage with a range of stakeholders across multiple disciplines within the business enabling delivery of your own output or in support of team deliverables
4. Maintain ownership of several reports and be responsible for the management of reports developed and owned by others in the team
5. Give business units and functions an overview of performance and forecasts through single or multiple queries as an aid to management
Essential experience of the MI Analyst:
6. Excellent numerical and analytical skills with proven industry application and experience
7. Strong attention to detail with a good understanding of data lineage
8. Extensive experience using PowerBI (especially within an MS Fabric environment) with experience delivering management information
9. Hand on experience with the development and optimisation of data models, reports and dashboards
10. Extensive experience using PowerBI (especially within an MS Fabric environment) with experience delivering management information
