Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Sector: Food Manufacturing Location: Leicestershire Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £50,000 per annum Hours: Monday > Friday | 7am>4.30pm iSQ Recruitment is working with a leading UK food manufacturer to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a highly automated production facility in Leicestershire to join them on their day shift. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that continues to invest heavily in its people, facilities and engineering function. You'll be working on modern production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activities while contributing to continuous improvement projects. Please note: This client does not offer visa sponsorship. Only candidates with full Right to Work in the UK and relevant UK manufacturing experience will be considered. Benefits £50,000 salary Annual profit share bonus Company pension Life assurance 22 days holiday including Bank Holidays Annual pay reviews Subsidised canteen Free onsite parking Overtime paid at 1.5x Double time on Sundays Genuine career progression opportunities Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance Electrical and mechanical fault finding Support continuous improvement projects Identify root causes of equipment failures Maintain production machinery and processing equipment Complete maintenance records and documentation Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime Support engineering apprentices and team development Key Criteria NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 Engineering qualification Minimum of 3 years experience as a Multi-skilled maintenance engineer within a production or manufacturing environment Food manufacturing experience is essential Strong electrical fault-finding skills Experience working with single and three-phase systems Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics PLC fault-finding experience desirable 17th/18th Edition desirable If you're a Maintenance Engineer looking to join a well-invested manufacturing business offering long-term stability, development and progression opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.
