Purchase Ledger ClerkAt McMullen Facades our Finance department is a busy working environment which plays a pivotal role in the business. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our growing team.This is a full-time permanent role based in our Moira Office. Hours of work - Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-2pm OR Monday-Friday 8.30-5pmExcellent salary and benefits package available for the successful candidate.About the role:Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor, you will be a confident and a detail-oriented professional who is able to work in a fast paced and deadline-driven environment. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. This role would be an excellent position for someone who wishes to learn from an established and professional Finance Team.The main elements of the role are:3 way match and process invoicesMatch credit notes to invoicesReconcile supplier statementsPrepare documents for payment processingWork with suppliers/other departments to resolve high volume of invoice queries (Teams & emails)Set up new Supplier accountsCore SkillsGood IT literacyAbility to work within a team to assist in all areas of the department if/when requiredTo be able to prioritise work and use own initiativeThe role requires a substantial amount of concentration and accuracyExcellent communication and organisational skills for liaising with suppliers and work colleagues in the UK and overseas both verbally and electronicallyTraining will be provided in each areaFive GCSEs (or equivalent) grades A to C (including Mathematics and English)Minimum 1 years experience in a purchase ledger roleGood working knowledge of Microsoft office, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook, experience power query useful but not essentialExperience in construction/manufacturing sectorKnowledge of COINS / Navision would be desirableExperience with EU & Rest of World purchases and vat codes preferable but not essentialSkills:Accounts Invoicing Purchase LedgerBenefits:Pension Health Care Gym MembershipWHJS1_NI
