Internal Auditor – Central London (Hybrid)
Sheridan Maine is recruiting on behalf of a leading media business for a Client Audit Executive. This is an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) with proven audit experience to progress their career within the media industry.
The Role:
As a Internal Auditor, you will support the Head of Media Compliance to ensure the accurate end-to-end reconciliation of agency and media owner campaigns and billings, supporting smooth external client audits. You will liaise across multiple teams, using your audit expertise to maintain data accuracy and support process and system improvements.
Key responsibilities of the Internal Auditor include:
* Conducting reconciliations and supporting operational audits across campaigns and client accounts.
* Documenting key processes that impact client and media owner billings.
* Identifying opportunities to improve processes and systems, providing actionable recommendations.
* Ensuring end-to-end processes are audit-ready.
* Collaborating with internal teams to maintain compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
To be considered for the Internal Auditor role:
* Recently qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Proven experience in internal or external audit, including operational audit exposure.
* Experience reconciling high volumes of transactional data.
* Demonstrable experience driving process improvement.
* Experience in financial systems; NetSuite preferred but not essential.
* Strong team player with excellent communication and analytical skills.
