Production Line Leader (Food Manufacturing)

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading FMCG manufacturer to recruit a Production Line Leader to join their growing operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced food production operative or team leader to step into a well-supported leadership role, with clear career progression and development pathways.
Your working week:
1. You will work 5 days per week Monday to Saturday with a day off in lieu.
2. Hours: 7.45am-5pm (41.25hr week)
3. Overtime is paid after 40hrs at time and a half

Your day to day:
13. Ensure the efficient production of high-quality food products in line with customer specifications and deadlines.
14. Operate, monitor, and oversee production machinery, including carrying out effective changeovers.
15. Perform pre-start checks and report maintenance requirements promptly.
16. Support hands-on production duties including packing, grading, and preparing product as required.
17. Accurately complete production documentation (manual and/or computerised), including calculating output figures.
18. Supervise and coordinate production operatives on the line, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
19. Monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards across all production activity.
20. Train and mentor new staff on production line procedures and ensure SOPs are adhered to.
21. Collaborate with other departments to maintain seamless production flow.
22. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across equipment and workspaces.
Your essential ingredients:
23. Previous experience working in a food manufacturing or industrial production environment.
24. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
25. Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving capabilities.
26. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
27. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
