Jam Coding Stockport is looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual to join our team as a Code Coach, delivering fun digital learning sessions to children aged 513. You dont need any coding experience - just confidence working with children, enthusiasm for learning, and a passion for helping young people succeed. Full training and session plans are provided. This is a fantastic role for someone with teaching, classroom, childcare or youth work experience who wants to step into the world of digital education. Key Responsibilities Deliver fun and engaging after-school workshops Support children individually and in small groups Follow structured lesson plans using coding tools (full training given) Create an encouraging, safe learning environment Manage session setup and assist with basic equipment handling Interact positively with pupils, parents and school staff Ideal Candidate No coding experience required Experience working with children (teaching, youth work, childcare etc.) Confident in group settings with good communication skills Enthusiastic, friendly and reliable Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car (travel between schools/venues required) Willing to learn new technology skills (training provided) Hold an enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one) Job Type Part-time / Term-time / Freelance Roughly 10 hours per week Afternoons Extra hours available during holidays
