Support Worker - Westbury, Wiltshire We are seeking a motivated, reliable support worker to work with an active 29yearold man who is registered blind and has learning difficulties. Support will take place both in his own home in Westbury and out in the local community. The client lives with a small dog and 2 budgies. About the Role The role is varied, active, and best suited to someone with plenty of energy who enjoys being out and about. Support will include: Domestic tasks within the home Social and leisure activities Gym attendance Beach visits, walks, lunches out Enabling our client to develop independence and confidence Essential Requirements Previous experience in a support or care role Full driving licence Excellent communication skills. A gentle, warm approach to engagement. Calm and confident Hours Up to 12 hours per week 6 hours per week of which are maternity cover. Availability for Thursdays, 12:0018:00 is essential. Previous experience and full driving licence are essential. An NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in care and Competent IT skills are desirable. £15.79 per hour day shifts £12.71 sleep shifts Availability for additional evening work desirable.
