Sample Coordinator

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the end-to-end processing of all UK sample requests, from initial creation through to final dispatch, in accordance with established procedures. This includes the safe handling and preparation of small-volume hazardous chemicals. You will play a key role in ensuring timely dispatch of samples while maintaining accurate stock records within SAP. Reporting to the Sampling Team Leader, you will also support communication and coordination efforts with Customer Relations, Sales & Marketing, and various manufacturing sites.

3. You will be proactive and capable of organising your workload and that of your team, as the situation dictates.
4. You will have previous experience in handling chemicals would be an advantage but are not essential.
5. You will be computer literate.
6. Educated to GCSE level, including Maths and English at grades C or above.
7. Knowledge of the SAP samples module or courier requirements would be an advantage but are not essential.
What You’ll Be Doing:

8. Picking customer orders from the sample stocks with accuracy and attention to detail.
9. Consolidating sample orders and preparing them securely for dispatch to customers.
10. Arranging courier collections and ensuring all relevant shipping documentation is completed correctly.
11. Repacking bulk sample stock into smaller quantities within a designated repack area, including accurate labelling.
12. Sampling from finished production for retesting purposes.
13. Managing administrative tasks, such as investigating customer queries via email.
14. Ordering sample stock from Croda manufacturing sites to maintain adequate inventory.
15. Using handheld scanners to track stock movements into and out of the site.
16. Performing regular housekeeping checks to ensure housekeeping is kept to a high standard.
