As a Senior Staff Verification Engineer, you will work within the IMA (Infrastructure, Methodology & Automation) IP Verification team in Bristol, a team with a proven track record in successful IP deliveries into Automotive Microcontrollers. In your new role you will: Define, develop and document UVM compliant, generatable SystemVerilog components for re-use across IP test benches; Help to define standardized verification methodologies for execution of IP verification and understand scope for automation; Help to define and develop framework for trialing new verification infrastructure and methodology; Provide training and support on new and existing verification infrastructure and methodology. Although you are able to develop your tasks independently, you work effectively as part of a team, always being willing to both give and take help when necessary. Your proactive personality allied with your excellent communication skills allow you to solve problems in an effective way and mitigate risks early. Your track record in taking projects to completion is supported by your ability to take ownership and deliver to agreed specification and schedule. Furthermore, you have a detail-oriented mindset and enjoy driving innovation. You are best equipped for this task if you have: A degree in STEM subject; At least 5 years in Verification, with proven experience of developing test bench components, defining test bench architecture and/or verification methodology; Expertise in hardware verification languages, including SystemVerilog and UVM; The ability to understand complex design specification, derive features and test bench architectures from concept; Familiarity with EDA tools for Design and Simulation; Working knowledge in scripting languages for verification environments (e.g Python, Perl, TCL would be preferred); Knowledge of Linting tools (PC Lint or equivalent) would be a plus; Fluency in English.
