Responsibilities:
1. Write, implement, and maintain Project Quality plans.
2. Conduct Project audits to demonstrate compliance with the specific project-defined plans and processes.
3. Conduct audits on products and project deliverables to determine the robustness of internal systems in delivering to customer needs and expectations.
4. Manage audit non-conformances to ensure timely closure of actions.
5. Generate and maintain appropriate KPIs to demonstrate process and product effectiveness.
6. Investigate quality failures, identify trends, assist relevant CA/PA owners in determining root causes, and monitor containment, corrective, and preventive actions.
7. Conduct internal and customer complaint RCCA.
8. Manage third-party approvals, typically CSC design approval, testing, and certification.
9. Manage the release of products to customers, host customer acceptance events, raise non-conformances, and monitor/manage their closure.
10. Visit supplier facilities to conduct FAT/FAI activities.
11. Monitor and facilitate closure of non-conformances, both internal and external.
12. Conduct configuration audits and First Article acceptance of supplied items prior to release to ensure compliance with specifications.
13. Perform Quality Assurance duties as defined by the Project Quality Lead.
Qualifications/Experience:
* Experience in project/product auditing.
* Experience in implementing and writing processes and procedures.
* Experience of implementing continuous improvement using standard quality tools such as 5 Why's, 8D, Fishbone, Pareto, etc.
* Experience applying auditing techniques within the supply chain.
* Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems is essential. Working knowledge of Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, and Visio is essential.
* Knowledge of coating applications and appropriate process control.
* Knowledge of manufacturing process controls associated with electro-mechanical products, including welding.
* Member of the Chartered Quality Institute and IRCA registered.
