Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship
Tradewind Recruitment, in partnership with Blackpool and Fylde College, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship. This is your chance to gain invaluable, paid experience in a school environment, earn a recognised qualification, and make a real difference in the lives of young people in Thornton Cleveley's. You will be matched to a school in your location or within your commute range and contracted to work directly with the school for 16 months. During this time you will benefit from paid experience (at apprenticeship rate) while undertaking your L3 TA apprenticeship theory via Blackpool and Fylde College. By the end of your contracted period you will become a qualified TA with other a years direct school experience!
About the Role:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will join a supportive primary school in Thornton Cleveley's. This one-form entry school is dedicated to fostering an enriching learning environment and nurturing new talent through structured apprenticeship programs.
You will work closely with experienced educators, supporting students aged 5-11. This hands-on role allows you to earn while you learn and build a rewarding career in education across the Fylde Coast.
Your Training and Qualification:
Blackpool and Fylde College is a leading training provider recognised by Fylde schools for their high-quality apprenticeship programs. They will provide the comprehensive training, support, and theoretical knowledge required to achieve your nationally recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, equipping you with essential skills for a successful career.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Provide personalised support through one-on-one or small group sessions.
Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and materials.
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Monitor and record student progress, reporting observations to the teacher.
Support student's social and emotional well-being.
Actively participate in training sessions and complete all required coursework with Blackpool and Fylde College.
Adhere strictly to school policies and procedures, particularly those related to safeguarding.
