The Best Connection is working closely with our international client to source additional Van (Cat B) Delivery Drivers for their Stockton office.
Please note that the positions will be available on an ad-hoc as well as long-term basis.
The role:
* Safe operation of a 3.5 tonne vehicle (generally a long wheel base)
* Vehicle provided
* Use of a scanning device (training given)
* Parcel delivery and collection
* The work involves multi-drop deliveries and collections, approximately 40 per day across the North.
* Deliveries to business and domestic customers
The candidate:
* 'B' licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements
* Minimum of 6 months driving experience
* 5 years of checkable work history
* A DBS check will be carried out for successful candidates
* Excellent customer service skills
Hours of work:
* Monday to Friday (weekend overtime as required)
* 08:00 am to 5:00 pm (delivery dependent)
Pay Rates:
* Up to £21.38 per hour after 45 hours per week
* Basic of £14.25 per hour up to 45 hours per week
