The JPM Payments Transformation & Execution team is a global team that collaborates with the Payments management team to develop and implement key aspects of its global strategy. JPM Payments EMEA seeks to add a Vice President to the Business Transformation & Execution team, supporting the EMEA Head of JPM Payments and the Global Head of Payments Transformation & Execution in achieving business ambitions across geographies, products, and functions.
As a Transformation and Execution Vice President within the JPM Payments Transformation & Execution team, you will lead initiatives across the following focus areas: JPM Business Transformation & Growth, Strategic Execution, Operating Model and Governance Transformation, Promoting Strategic Initiatives, and M&A Integration. You will collaborate with global and regional partners to build an integrated strategy, design and execute key programs, promote transformation of operating models, lead strategic initiatives, and oversee integration activities, all aimed at promoting regional success and enhancing competitive positioning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop EMEA Business Growth Strategy: Lead the crafting of a JPM Payments EMEA growth strategy that aligns with both global and regional priorities.
2. Shape and Execute Transformation Strategy: Formulate and implement large-scale transformation efforts across the Payments Organization.
3. Develop and Implement Strategic Roadmaps: Create detailed strategic roadmaps that outline the steps necessary to achieve business objectives, ensuring alignment with both regional and global programs.
4. Conduct Market Analysis: Perform comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, providing insights that inform strategic decision-making and competitive positioning.
5. Design & Implement Operating Models: Design and implement operating models that foster business growth, enhance operational efficiency and controls, and align with strategic objectives.
6. Design and Execute Go-to-Market Strategies and Programs: Develop and implement programs to enter new client segments and/or markets.
7. Manage Program Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead programs and work closely with various departments, including Product, Technology, Operations, and Sales, to ensure execution of strategic initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Deep familiarity with the Payments industry and transaction banking, including its drivers, risks, and the regulatory and competitive environment.
* Extensive experience in consulting within the banking or financial services sector, in strategy or operational consulting.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills for collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
* Strong analytical skills for conducting market analysis and providing strategic insights.
* Proven ability to develop regional strategies aligned with global objectives.
* Experience in shaping and executing large-scale transformation strategies within complex organizations.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Extensive consulting experience in the banking or financial services sector, preferably in strategy or operational consulting.
