Candidate Requirements: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching art at KS3 and KS4 level A passion for inclusive education and a desire to support pupils with SEN Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual needs A full driving licence and access to a vehicle, due to the rural location Role Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated art lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. They will work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other staff to create a consistent and supportive learning environment. Key responsibilities include setting clear learning objectives, tracking progress through personalised assessment, contributing to EHCP reviews, and fostering creativity, confidence, and self-expression through a variety of artistic media.
