Job Description
Gleeson Recruitment Group are working with a client based in the Burton area that are looking for a commercially minded finance professional to join their FP&A team. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you’ll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and implementing a new planning system. You’ll also lead the finance element of capital investment projects, working closely with wider business teams.
This role involves developing financial models, producing meaningful analysis, and partnering with senior leaders to support strategic decisions. You'll also be responsible for preparing regular reporting packs that provide clear insight into business performance against budgets and forecasts.
The business can offer a salary between £45,000 - £55,000 with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain models for budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
* Support the rollout across the business
* Manage FX modelling in line with hedging policies
* Provide short- and long-term cash flow forecasts
* Deliver financial insight across operational areas
* Work with senior leaders to improve cost centre reporting
* Lead financial aspects of capital projects, from budgeting through to post-implementation review
* Support monthly results analysis and reporting with core and commercial finance teams
* Produce monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders
* Help build the FP&A function, including mentoring future team members
Ideal Candidate
* Experience in FP&A, budgeting, or financial modelling
* Strong Excel skills
* The ability to work cross-functionally and influence others
* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset
* A relevant finance qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
