CNC Operator - Position Overview
Operate and maintain Doosan CNC lathe machinery to produce high-precision blow mould components
Set up machines in accordance with job specifications and engineering drawings
Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and product accuracy
Inspect finished parts using appropriate measuring tools to maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime
Collaborate with engineering and tooling teams to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a high-performance workshop culture
Maintain accurate production records and quality control documentation as required
CNC Operator - Position Requirements
Proven experience operating Doosan CNC lathe machinery
Previous experience in a precision engineering or tooling/manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
Strong understanding of machining tolerances and quality control standards
Good mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and accuracy
Capable of working independently and as part of a small, high-performing team
CNC Operator - Position Remuneration
Salary of £32,000 - £35,000, depending on experience (Overtime available, paid at time and a half)
Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30 shift pattern
20 days holiday allowance plus bank holidays
