What You’ll Do:
Support Children with ASD and Learning Difficulties: Work closely with primary-aged children with autism, learning difficulties, and additional needs.
Use Communication Techniques: Support non-verbal pupils using visuals and Makaton to aid communication.
Manage Dysregulation: Assist children who may engage in biting, kicking, or scratching when dysregulated, using de-escalation and calming techniques.
Promote Learning & Play: Foster learning through play and structured activities to support the development of each child’s abilities.
