The ideal candidate will: Be an outstanding teacher of Psychology/Sociology or have the potential to become outstanding Have Experience in raising, or the desire to raise attainment, for all students of all abilities Be committed to Ark’s ethos of high expectations and no excuses and the belief that every child can succeed Have evidence of continually improving the teaching and learning of their subject Key Responsibilities: Teach engaging and effective lessons that motivate, inspire, and improve pupil attainment To produce/contribute to oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to individual and groups of pupils Maintain regular and productive communication with pupils, parents, and carers, to report on progress, sanctions and rewards and all other communications Qualification Criteria: Qualified to degree level and/or above Hold qualified teacher status (QTS) Right to work in the U.K. Safeguarding statement: Ark is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in its academies.
