Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Dundee. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and maintaining kitchen inventory. Responsibilities also include supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and presentation standards are met, and maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations. The Sous Chef will also contribute to menu planning and recipe development.
Qualifications
* Experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
* Excellent supervisory and leadership skills
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
* Creativity in menu planning and recipe development
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
* Relevant culinary certifications or degrees
* Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage
