IT Support Engineer — RRED, Incorporated
Join our client, a global player in FMCG and food manufacturing, operating across 8 national UK sites and supplying 17 countries worldwide. The role will support three core sites in Glasgow, Scunthorpe, and Burton.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1st/2nd line IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, touchscreens, and internal telephone systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with O365, Windows 10, and Windows Server 2016/19 environments.
* Maintain firewall security and perform related configuration tasks.
* Support core networking infrastructure including routers, switches, WiFi backups and VOIP systems.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams and the IT manager based at Burton office.
* Manage service desk tickets via JIRA, ensuring responses within agreed SLAs.
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar IT technical support role, handling 1st or 2nd line enquiries.
* Working knowledge of Office 365, Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/19 and firewall security.
* Experience with networking fundamentals; knowledge of CISCO, DNS/DHCP is an advantage.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams.
* Must have access to a car and be willing to be on site 5 days per week.
