We are currently seeking a GP to join our dynamic and patient-centred team. As a GP at Whittington Moor Surgery, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, comprehensive healthcare services to our patient population.
We are looking for GP to cover maternity leave. To start late July, early August 2026 for 3 months. Working 6 sessions over a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Main duties of the job
Key duties - to provide our NHS GP contract, some duties include;
* Primary Care Provision: Provide primary medical care to patients of all ages, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
Patient Consultations: Conduct thorough and empathetic consultations to understand and address patients' medical concerns, collaborating with other healthcare professionals when necessary.
Chronic Disease Management: Manage and monitor patients with chronic conditions, developing and implementing personalised care plans to optimise health outcomes.
Health Promotion and Education: Advocate for preventive healthcare measures and provide patient education on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and managing medical conditions.
Collaborative Approach: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
Emergency Response: Respond effectively when urgent patient care is required, providing initial assessment, stabilisation, and coordination of further care.
Professional Development: Stay abreast of medical advancements and participate in continuing education activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills
