GSL Education are seeking a passionate Year 6 Classroom Teacher to join a welcoming school in Hull starting this September. This role offers the opportunity to guide pupils through their final year of primary school, focusing on academic achievement, confidence building, and preparation for secondary education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
* Support students in preparation for SATs and ensure high standards of achievement.
* Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils.
* Maintain strong classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
* Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, and colleagues to support pupil progress.
Requirements for the Year 6 Classroom Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 6.
* Strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment strategies.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
