Second in English – Experience and Qualifications
The successful candidate will ideally have:
* A degree in English or a related subject
* A recognised teaching qualification with QTS (such as PGCE)
* Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
* A strong understanding of curriculum planning and assessment
* The ability to support departmental leadership and drive improvement
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A passion for literature, language, and student achievement
* The legal right to work in the UK
