Duties And Responsibilities
To carry out a range of NDT inspection techniques on components, pipework and structural assemblies etc, in order to establish acceptability to specification.
Functions
1. Carry out the most effective NDT techniques to components requiring inspection.
2. Ensure that work area is safe to carry out NDT activities.
3. Carry out risk assessments/Take II as required.
4. Ensure NDT equipment function tests are performed according to the procedure and any faulty equipment is detailed back to the supervisor.
5. Ensure inspection is carried out within the parameters of the applicable specification.
6. Evaluate results of the test in accordance with applicable specification
7. Produce a clear and concise report detailing the methods used in and results of the inspection and all finding noting any limitations / test restrictions is applicable.
8. Carry out work in a timely and efficient manner in order to meet deadlines, changing priorities when the situation requires.
9. Carry out work in accordance with Oceaneering operating procedures and statutory/client specifications and requirements.
10. When performing profile radiography ensure that a minimum of two exposures at 90 degrees are applied. Detail any limitations in reports with photographic evidence.
11. Produce a clear and concise report detailing the methods used in and results of the inspection and all finding noting any limitations / test restrictions is applicable. Ensure any areas of high density are communicated to supervision.
12. Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems
13. Participate in company/partnership technical forums to ensure knowledge update of innovative technology
14. Undertake any other duties of a reasonable nature as required by Management.
15. Ensure the work areas are kept clean and maintained.

17. PCN Radiography Level 2
18. Valid Full UK driving license.
19. Valid Passport
20. Must have good communication skills.
21. IT literate
22. Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel
