We are now looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality & Assurance Manager to help drive service excellence and ensure full compliance with CQC standards across our operations.
Role Overview:
The Quality & Assurance Manager will take a lead role in ensuring that Muve Homecare continues to meet and exceed regulatory standards. This role involves developing and implementing systems for monitoring, auditing, and spot checks, and working collaboratively with service managers and staff to embed a strong quality culture throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring & Compliance:
* Design and implement a robust quality monitoring framework aligned with CQC’s Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs).
* Maintain continuous oversight of compliance across all service areas.
* Regularly review care documentation, policies, risk assessments, and safeguarding protocols.
Audits & Spot Checks:
* Plan and conduct scheduled and unannounced audits to assess care delivery, documentation, and regulatory adherence.
* Complete detailed spot checks in service users’ homes to ensure high standards of care and service user satisfaction.
* Develop action plans and support follow-through with local teams.
Reporting & Improvement:
* Produce accurate, insightful quality reports for senior management and the Registered Manager.
* Monitor and analyse trends in incidents, complaints, audits, and care outcomes.
* Lead on quality improvement initiatives, supporting services to meet and maintain high performance.
Staff Support & Training:
* Provide feedback and coaching to staff and managers to improve practice.
* Identify training needs and work with HR/training teams to implement learning programmes.
* Promote a culture of openness, continuous learning, and professional accountability.
Regulatory Engagement:
* Prepare services for CQC inspections and lead on implementation of post-inspection action plans.
* Ensure that all services reflect up-to-date legislative and best-practice standards.
Requirements:
* Experience in a quality or compliance role within a CQC-registered care service (domiciliary care preferred).
* Strong understanding of CQC regulations, care governance, and risk management.
* Proven ability to conduct audits, produce reports, and drive measurable improvements.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and educate others.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across services.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client homes and branches as needed.
