This long-term, full-time opportunity is set to begin in September and is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about working with children in Key Stage 1 and is committed to fostering a positive learning environment. Role Overview: As a Key Stage 1 TA, you will support pupils aged 5 to 7 in developing foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social interaction. You will work closely with class teachers to ensure students are engaged, supported, and encouraged to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities as a KS1 Teaching Assistant: Assist in delivering engaging lessons tailored to KS1 curriculum objectives. Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and routines. Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils who require additional help. Encourage positive learning habits and emotional development. Prepare classroom materials and assist with daily administrative tasks. Requirements for KS1 Teaching Assistant: Prior experience working in a KS1 school setting is desirable. A nurturing and enthusiastic attitude with strong communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
