Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in London, United Kingdom, for a Sales and Business Manager. In this role, the individual will oversee day-to-day sales activities, build and maintain client relationships, and identify new business opportunities to drive sales growth. Responsibilities include managing a team, developing strategic plans, liaising with interior designers and architects, ensuring customer satisfaction, and collaborating with the showroom team to deliver exceptional service. Additional duties include analyzing market trends, setting and achieving sales targets, and ensuring operational efficiency within the showroom.
Pay Range
£100,000 - £120,000 subject to experience

Requirements
* The role requires a minimum of 3 years of proven experience leading revenue growth specifically within the high-end London luxury furniture/interiors market
* Fluent Italian Speaker the manager is the primary, essential liaison with our Italian manufacturing facility. This fluency is non-negotiable for critical daily communication covering:
Negotiation of supply chain agreements and lead times.
Technical discussion of bespoke product specifications.
Coordination of quality control (QC) and R&D.
* At least 5 years working with or at a premium furniture brand, manufacturer or furniture and interior marketing business.
* Minimum 3 years experience managing teams of people in a furniture sales setting.
* Minimum 3 years experience overseeing sales team P&L and developing strategies based on P&L results to drive successful revenue growth.
* Proven track record winning large scale commercial and hospitality orders that have multiple stake holders with different objective.
* Leading a sales team, motivating and training members of the team to achieve and exceed company targets.
Skills
* Develop strategies across retail, residential design and commercial project business segments.
* High Emotional Intelligence & Diplomacy: Demonstrated ability to manage diverse personalities, coach high-performing talent, and resolve sensitive internal or external conflicts with discretion and professionalism.
* Polished Written and Verbal Communication: Ability to articulate complex proposals, financial summaries, and business updates with clarity and sophistication when interacting with HNW clients and senior leadership.
* Financial Acumen: Able to interpret and act upon P&L statements, margin analysis, and sales forecasting models to drive strategic decisions.
* CRM & ERP Proficiency: Expertise in using and optimising platforms like Salesforce or similar high-end CRM tools, and familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems used for inventory and order management.
* Project Management Skills: Experience managing multi-phased projects with dependencies spanning design, production, customs/import, and white-glove installation teams.
* International Supply Chain and Customs Knowledge: Working knowledge of import/export procedures, freight forwarding, and managing relationships with international luxury suppliers.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in sales management, business development, and client relationship management
* Strong leadership, team management, and coordination skills
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities
* Knowledge of luxury furniture, interior design, or high-end retail is a significant advantage
* Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
* Familiarity with the upscale London interior design market is preferred
* Proficiency in relevant software, including CRM tools and Microsoft Office
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration is required
