Buyer / Expeditor - 6month contract - immediate start £32K + holiday The Buyer / Expeditor provides support to the purchasing team ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. Experience in MRP or ERP is essential ideally in a manufacturing / engineering company. The Role Analyse Material Requirement Planning and issues purchase orders Proactively expedite the timely delivery of goods and services Progress and check order acknowledgements Maintain accurate system data for suppliers, lead time, pricing, batch sizes and cost process fields for new items Support cost reduction strategy. Maintain a risk assessment of key suppliers Negotiate competitive with existing and new potential suppliers Ensure Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is amended for any variation against standard costs.
