Carmichael UK is working in partnership with a Tier 1 contractor delivering major structures works on the HS2 project in Buckinghamshire. We are seeking an experienced Sub Agent to support the successful delivery of complex civil engineering packages on this nationally significant infrastructure scheme. The Role As Sub Agent, you will play a key role in the management and delivery of structures works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will support the Agent and Project Manager while coordinating site activities and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities Management of day-to-day site operations for structures packages Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, budget, and specification Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance Assisting with RAMS, permits, and temporary works coordination Supporting progress reporting, site records, and client liaison About You Proven experience working as a Sub Agent on civil engineering or structures projects Strong background in structures (bridges, RC works, retaining walls, etc.) Experience on major infrastructure projects (HS2 experience highly advantageous) SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant engineering qualification Excellent communication and leadership skills
