Shifts: 4 on 4 off pattern - 2 Days & 2 Nights

About the Role
We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with both electrical and mechanical expertise to join our team. This role involves carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Work is both reactive and planned maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Electrical and mechanical fault finding, diagnosis and repair
* Working on motors, gearboxes, conveyors, sensors, inverters and control panels
* Supporting machinery breakdowns to minimise downtime
* Planning and carrying out preventative maintenance during quieter production periods
* Ensuring smooth and safe operations
* Continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
About You
The ideal candidate will:
* Be a fully multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
* Have experience within planned and reactive maintenance
* Ideally have worked within food production or FMCG environments
* Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Key Skills/Qualifications
* Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Engineering
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills (motors, drives, PLCs - basic interrogation preferred)
* Solid mechanical maintenance experience
* Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
