Duties
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
* Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste to optimise kitchen resources.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, demonstrating culinary expertise.
* Ensure consistent quality of dishes served, maintaining the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
Skills
* Proven supervising experience within a kitchen environment.
* Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
* Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead others.
* Extensive culinary experience, showcasing creativity in cooking and menu design.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
* Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
