Key Duties
* Conduct thorough eye examinations to the highest clinical standards.
* Advise patients on their vision care needs, including prescribing glasses or contact lenses.
* Participate in and contribute to specialist clinics, such as Myopia Control.
* Support patients with general eye health concerns and refer when necessary.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
* Work closely with dispensing opticians and support staff to deliver a seamless patient experience.
* Ensure compliance with all GOC and NHS regulations and standards.
Package and Benefits
* Salary £35,000 – £50,000 depending on experience.
* 28 days annual leave including bank holidays.

* 30‑minute testing times to ensure quality care.
* Currently single testing, so confidence and independence are key.
* Plans in place for double testing in the near future.
* No sales targets; patient care is the priority.
* 2 pm finish on Saturdays, no Sundays, and all bank holidays off.
* Looking for 3‑4 days per week, but full‑time may be accommodated across multiple sites.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* GOC Registered.
* Experience preferred but open to confident newly qualified.
* Must hold full right to work in the UK.
