A MedTech business is looking for a skilled Database Developer to join a growing Product Development team. In this role, you will play a significant part in server-side development and data optimization, including REST APIs for NHS and private medical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* At least 2 years of experience working with databases and writing database code, such as PL/SQL in Oracle/Postgres or T-SQL in SQL Server.
* Understanding of SQL, DDL, and DML.
* Server-side development and data optimization, including REST APIs primarily in PL/SQL and Lambda functions in Node.js (training available if needed).
* Integrate with various 3rd party services, including NHS and private medical systems.
* Collaborate with front-end developers to optimize API usage and backend interfacing.
* Good working knowledge of git.
* Experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, Lambda, Cognito, CloudFront, RDS, and EC2.
Experience:
* Proven experience with databases and database coding (PL/SQL or T-SQL).
* Knowledge of SQL, DDL, and DML.
* Familiarity with git.
* Node.js experience is a bonus.
* Knowledge of AWS services is preferred.
