Field Based Optical Assistant
Monday - Friday: 8.30AM - 5.30PM (NO WEEKENDS OR BANK HOLIDAY WORKING)
Annual Salary £27,000 - £32,000 (PLUS FULLY EXPENSED COMPANY CAR)
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Field Optical Assistant to join our well-established client based in Birmingham on a full-time permanent basis.

THIS ROLE IS A FIELD BASED VACANCY AND WILL BE COVERING A LARGE TERRITORY TO INCLUDE MANCHESTER, LEEDS, HULL AND MIDLANDS.
THERE WILL BE DAILY TRAVEL INVOLVED IN A FULLY EXPENSED COMPANY CAR

Day to Day Duties
Conduct pre-tests for patients and support the optometrist in clinic
Dispense glasses with the level of care you would expect for yourself
Deliver and fit glasses with precision to change someone's quality of life
Maintain accurate patient records for continuity of care
Provide outstanding customer service so that they remember you
Repair glasses with skill and care
Essential Skills
Must have full driving license
12 months minimum optical experience gained within an optician setting
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good Maths and English ability
Excellent people person
Desirable Experience
Previous work within a care home setting may be desirable
Training
Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
