Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for a Solderer for our client in Telford. This is a role best suited to someone who has used soldering equipment previously. This role is temporary that could lead to permanent.
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday
8am - 5:30pm
Pay:
£12.21 per hour
Duties and responsibilities as a Solderer:
* Perform hand soldering of electronic components
* Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
* Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions
* Use soldering irons, heat guns, and other tools safely and effectively
* Prepare and position components prior to soldering
* Identify and repair soldering defects
* Work with small parts with precision and attention to detail
* Maintain a clean and organised workstation
* Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures
* Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets
Qualifications & Skills as a Solderer:
* Use of soldering equipment and hand tools
* Working with electrical equipment
* An eye for detail
* High levels of written and spoken English
* A positive attitude to work
* Good Attendance & a self starter
* The right to work in the UK
