Our Care in the Home service is expanding in Corby!
We are seeking experienced, highly motivated, and proactive Male Support Workers with a full driving licence to support clients in their own homes. This is a zero-hour contract with shifts scheduled 6 weeks in advance to ensure continuity of care.
All new support workers will attend a two-week sector-leading induction, including a 5-day stay away from home, with travel and accommodation costs covered. The training comprises face-to-face sessions with clinicians and online courses.

We support children, young people, and adults with various conditions such as brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, respiratory conditions, and gastrointestinal issues, including PEG feeding. Our care extends beyond clinical needs to support the whole person, considering the wider impact on families and friends.

What you will be working:
* Regular shifts to ensure continuity of care
* Various full-time and part-time positions
What you will be doing:
* Supporting clients to exercise choice and control over their lives
* Liaising with and supporting families
* Assisting with hygiene needs such as washing, dressing, and toileting
* Supporting clients to access local amenities and community events
* Following documented care plans
* Maintaining accurate, confidential records
* Participating in manual handling procedures
* Maintaining professional boundaries, following care manager guidance
What you will have:
* A full, clean UK driving licence
* A genuine interest in providing person-centred care
* Previous experience with spinal injury clients is desirable but not essential (training provided)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to learn and develop
* Successful candidates will undergo an Enhanced DBS check
