Job Summary
Hours: Part time available
We are recruiting a salaried General Practitioner at our Hywel Dda University Health Board managed practice in Tenby, which joined the Health Board's portfolio on 1 August 2018. The practice serves approximately 7,200 patients and is supported by a multidisciplinary team including Advanced Nurse/Paramedic Practitioners, Pharmacists, and experienced nursing and administrative staff.
The role offers leadership opportunities, clinical responsibilities, and a mix of face-to-face, telephone triage, and remote consultations. The practice utilizes E-Consult and Workflow Optimization. You will be part of the wider GP team, with opportunities for professional development, peer support, and participation in activities like a monthly Journal Club.
Main Duties
1. Provide high-quality medical services to registered patients, including temporary residents.
2. Manage patient consultations and home visits as needed.
3. Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the team.
4. Conduct telephone and virtual consultations, including triage.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to audits and data recording.
