Responsibilities Soldering a wide range of PTH components to IPC or J-STD standards (Class 2 & 3) Using X-Ray inspection equipment to check solder joints Assembling simple cables, small mechanical builds, and enclosures Programming and operating selective soldering and wave soldering machines Following build instructions and manufacturing drawings accurately Using the company’s computer-based system to record production notes and log time Reporting quality issues and working closely with the quality manager to maintain standardsExperience Required Desirable: Experience soldering to IPC or J-STD standards Essential: Comfortable with a mix of manual assembly and operating soldering equipment Essential: Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality Essential: Ability to read and follow technical drawings and production documentation Desirable: Previous experience in a manufacturing or electronics environmentBenefits of Joining TechPoint £28,000 per annum 20 days holiday, bank holidays and every Friday off!
