Your new role
Are you passionate about shaping workplace culture through clear, inclusive, and forward-thinking HR policies? We’re looking for an experienced HR Policy Specialist to join a busy, friendly and sportive team and lead the development, review, and implementation of policies that support the people and organisational goals. This will involve:
1. Policy Development:
Design and update HR policies in line with legal requirements, best practices, andpany values.
2. Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with HR, Legal, and operational teams to ensure policies are practical,pliant, and wellmunicated.
Monitor legislative changes and ensure our policies remainpliant and up-to-date.
3. Employee Experience:
Ensure policies are inclusive, accessible, and support a positive employee experience.
4. Project Work:
Lead or support policy-related projects, including harmonisation, audits, and change initiatives.
Great HR policy focused post, 12 months FTC, mainly working from home, reviewing and updating current policies whilst the HR team focus more on the BAU.
What you'll need to succeed
This will suit either an experienced HR Policy Specialist or an HR generalist with strong knowledge and experience reviewing and revising HR policies.
Previous experience is essential, as is solid employment law knowledge. Ideally, you have experience working in trade union environments - negotiations/consultations, procedures etc. You will need strongmunication, including the ability to write well and document well.

8. CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
