In support of our continued growth journey, we are looking for a Data Migration Specialist with a strong functional and technical understanding of Dynamics 365, and a passion for client contact. You understand the nuts and bolts of Dynamics 365 solutions, and you know how to connect with clients and lead a team to reach their goals. You are organized, energetic, and as comfortable in the client’s boardroom as well as in front of a whiteboard with your teams.

This role requires you to be hands-on in developing technical solutions for our clients, while also demonstrating strong management skills by delegating complex tasks to your project team. By balancing direct involvement with effective leadership, you will stay current with best practices in data migration and establish yourself as a capable and trusted leader.
1. Proven experience in leading data migrations for ERP systems, ideally D365 F&O, with deep knowledge of data models, mapping, and transformation techniques.
2. Skilled in ETL tools, SQL, data validation, and reconciliation processes. Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or similar.
3. Knowledge of business processes in Finance & Operations and how data supports these processes.
4. Experience managing migration workstreams, timelines, and deliverables in complex, multi-phase projects.
5. Strong consulting skills, able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and manage client expectations.
6. Experience working with distributed teams, including offshore and nearshore resources.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex information clearly and confidently.

13. Own the end-to-end migration lifecycle, including planning, mapping, extraction, transformation, validation, and loading of data from legacy systems to D365 F&O.
14. Establish and document standards for data migration within the D365 framework, ensuring repeatable, high-quality outcomes.
15. Design, implement, and optimise ETL pipelines using industry-standard tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake) to move data efficiently and securely.
16. Create frameworks and tools to validate migrated data, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure auditability and trust in migration outcomes.
17. Work with cross-functional teams (functional consultants, technical architects, developers, testers) to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
18. Coordinate offshore and nearshore resources, ensuring clear communication, effective task allocation, and quality control.
19. Assess legacy data sources, identify potential migration challenges, and provide proactive solutions to clients.
20. Act as the primary point of contact for all data migration matters, building trust and providing expert guidance.
