Interim Chief Revenue Officer – Financial Services Recruitment

We are partnering with a well-established financial services recruitment firm with a strong UK and European footprint, specialising in technology and project talent across the full spectrum of financial services subsectors. The business operates across both permanent and contract markets, with a dedicated talent acquisition arm focused on upskilling and project delivery.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Interim Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead the business through a period of strategic realignment and commercial revitalisation. This is a transformation-focused leadership role, reporting directly to the founders, with a clear mandate to reset and drive the firm’s revenue strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess the current state of the business and define a bold five-year commercial strategy.
* Recalibrate go-to-market, client engagement, and revenue generation approaches.
* Redefine KPIs and performance metrics to align with commercial goals.
* Re-energise and restructure high-performing teams across permanent, contract, and TA functions.
* Work closely with founders to embed a high-accountability, collegiate culture.
* Mentor and empower team leads, instilling a client-first, results-driven ethos.
* Drive market presence and client acquisition across UK and Europe.

* Proven track record in a senior leadership role within a top-tier UK-based financial services recruitment firm.
* Deep understanding of financial services, project-based hiring, and technology talent trends.
* Strong commercial acumen with experience in strategic transformation and turnaround.
