As a 3.5T Delivery Driver based in Aberdeen, you’ll be responsible for:
* Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies mainly within a 60 mile radius of the branch
* The number of deliveries will vary day to day to new build construction sites, the Council and residential customers
* Carrying out vehicle checks
* Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators toilets and sinks
* Assisting in the warehouse if back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30am - 4:30pm.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence
* Previous multidrop driving is preferred
* Excellent communication skills
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with PDA devices
* To be a team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch
* Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
