Experience
Essential criteria
1. Greater than two years Orthopaedic Registrar experience, particularly in foot and ankle subspecialties
2. Minimum 4 months NHS experience
Desirable criteria
3. •Evidence of involvement in audit & research projects
Skills
Essential criteria
4. Principles and practice of foot and ankle surgery
5. Evidence of technical competence in intermediate level surgery
6. Up to date, complete logbook of experience
7. Meet the requirements of the GMC’s Good Medical Practice
Desirable criteria
8. Contribution to management of professional organisation
9. Some experience of medical writing
Qualifications
Essential criteria
10. Basic MB BS or equivalent
11. Postgraduate FRCS / MRCS or equivalent
12. Commitment to continuing postgraduate education and training
Desirable criteria
13. Additional Postgraduate qualification
