Main duties of the job
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute and chronic conditions
* Provide independent prescribing where qualified
* Undertake clinical examinations and formulate treatment plans
* Deliver health promotion and preventative care
* Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and the wider multidisciplinary team
* Support practice improvement initiatives and patient‑centred care delivery
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical records

Marsh Medical Practice was established on 1st July 1996 andwe have a practice population of around 7000 patients.
We operate and dispense across two sites, North Somercotesand Manby.
We cover a large part of Coastal East Lincolnshire fromTetney, to South Thoresby and from Louth and its surrounding villages to thecoast.

Job responsibilities
* Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
* Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic health conditions
* Prescribe medications and administer treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines
* Develop personalised care plans tailored to individual patient needs
* Educate patients on health management, medication use, and preventive care strategies
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
* Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
* Stay updated with the latest medical research, anatomy knowledge, and clinical practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC registration
* Experience working within primary care or general practice
