Your new role
Lead the Finance Team with clarity, purpose and a focus on high performance, continuous improvement and collaboration.
Oversee the production of accurate, timely accounts, budgets and forecasts while maintaining strong cash flow management.
Ensure robust internal controls, statutory reporting and the effective development of financial systems, policies and processes.
Embed efficiency, compliance and best practice
Work closely with senior leaders and auditors to provide expert financial advice that informs strategic decision-making and maximises resource impact.
Support the onboarding of new entities
What youll need to succeed
Fully qualified / chartered in either ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA
Significant experience in a complex, hands-on accounting role within a commercial organisation, public sector body or accounting practice.
Proven ability to lead, inspire and develop a team, setting clear expectations and fostering a positive, inclusive and high-trust culture.
A track record of successfully leading organisations through external audit, regulatory review or compliance improvements.
Strong capability in sharing best practice and technical knowledge, with experience using multiple accounting systems and leading system development or enhancements.
