MANUAL MACHINIST
We are recruiting for a Manual Machinist to work for our client who are located in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
Responsibilities
* Service and repair of motors, pumps, fans, gearboxes.
* Diagnose both mechanical and electrical faults on a range of equipment.
* Strip down parts, fault find, diagnose and repair.
* Assemble gearboxes.
* Work to deadlines
Essential experiences & skills
* Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background.
* Read engineering drawings
* Manual Lathes
* Engineering background required
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent time keeping.
The hours
* Monday - Thursday - 8.5 hours per day
* Working hours: 7.30 - 16.30
* Morning break 10.00 - 10.15
* Lunch break 13.00 to 13.30
* Friday - 6 hours
* Working hours: 7.30 - 13.45
* Morning break - None
* Lunch break 11.00 - 11.30
The pay
You will earn an hourly rate of between £14 to £15 an hour depending on experience.
