An established and growing multi-academy education trust is seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Manager to oversee safetypliance and strategy across multiple school sites. This is a pivotal role, supporting both existing schools and those joining the trust as part of its expansion plan.
As the trust transitions from site-level autonomy to a more centralised and professional approach to health and safety, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape and embed best practice across a diverse and evolving organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the implementation of the trust-wide Health & Safety strategy.
2. Ensurepliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
3. Provide expert advice and guidance to school leadership teams and central staff.
4. Conduct risk assessments and site audits, and deliver H&S training.
5. Promote a proactive safety culture that supports a positive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
6. Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
7. Proven experience in a health & safety role, ideally within education, public sector, or multi-site environments.
8. Excellentmunication and relationship-building skills.
9. Confident in using digital tools and systems to manage H&S processes.
10. Able to work independently, managepeting priorities, and adapt to change.
